Is Fetal Life Riskier Than Neonatal Life, 1984-1991 Compared with 1996-2002

Abstract

Tthe calculation of the neonatal mortality risk (NMR) and stillbirth risk (SBR) in the prevailing pregnancies at each gestational age allows the comparison of lives lost intrauterine and extra-uterine. No difference was noted in NMR and SBR from 1996 thru 2002 within each race in United States (US).
