Description

2019 Third Place, Northwestern Scientific Images Contest. In this picture you can appreciate a dorsal root ganglia (DRG) from mice spinal cord. Neurons responsible of the sensory modality are found in DRGs. Here, as sunlight, neuron axons (in yellow) expend from the ganglia supported by satellite glial cells (in cyan). DRG model is relevant to study neuropathic disorders.
